Stolen ATV and Pop

The local newspaper, its something a lot of us young people don’t read. Mostly because, it just doesn’t have the things that interest us. I mean who wants to hear about local government, local taxes, local events, that sort of stuff. Just recently I have been picking up a local news paper just to see what I can get from it, or gain from it. One thing is for sure, I have gained laughter. Today I pick up the paper and start to read the different sections of the local newspaper. The one section I try to read is the “Police Log” to find out what has happened in our local area. While I was reading it I stumbled across this report:

(leave the persons name out), Sixten School Road, Wellsville reported Wednesday an ATV was stolen from his property and his home was also entered through an unlocked door, with the intruders stealing a satellite receiver and two cans of Mountain Dew. The pop cans were later found empty at the end of the driveway.

So their you have it folks, just one reason to pick up a local newspaper. Sum may pick up a local newspaper to read about local taxes, local government news, and public events. While others like me, pick up a local newspaper for a good laugh.

Twitter, Is Anyone Listening To Me???

Social Networking, what is it with us and being connected with each other. What is it about us that feels the need to keep in contact with old high school friends. We started with Myspace and then moved on to Facebook. Now Facebook just isn’t enough so now we turn to Twitter. Sure Twitter doesn’t have all the extras like Facebook and Myspace but that is what makes Twitter, Twitter. Twitter is the lazy mans blog which you can only post (tweet) short messages (140 characters to be exact). On Twitter you can post all of the thoughts you are thinking. Yes, that can be anything so let you imagination go wild. Their is a lot of stuff users post that can be really annoying because people just feel the need to post constantly, and some that post rarely. I have found Twitter to be very use to spread news articles to others. I can go and name a few others but I don’t have the energy to go any deeper. Is Twitter cool? Yes and No.. Are people who tweet, the ones that have no friends in the real world? Yes and No… Does Twitter have its place in the Social Networking space? Definitely!! I say give it a shot, its free. Plus you never know what kind of stuff you going to see or read on Twitter. Best of all its Social Networking.. I mean the term Social Networking is cool so that must mean Twitter is cool.. Just as an added bonus, its always fun to laugh at Twitter. enjoy the video (thanks to @excid3).

Bill Gates Wife Loves Apple

If your the wife or kids of the famous billionaire Bill Gates, your not allowed Apple products. I mean come on, Microsoft has a lot of cool stuff like Windows Movie Maker, Songsmith, Windows Defender, I mean the list will go on and on. Ok, I was just joking. Microsoft could use a little work when it comes to the hip and cool stuff these days. Do you think Steve Jobs would allow his family members to have Microsoft Products? It’s funny to think what it would be like if Bill Gates wife did have an Apple product. Thanks to the people over at Funny or Die for the great clip of Melinda Gates keeping here love for Apple products under the table. Ok, I know, the video isn’t really Melinda Gates but its funny to pretend.

Money, Money, Everywhere..

Well folks I’m not much of a political person. I don’t keep up-to-date with everything, but I will say I have been paying more attention recently than I have been in earlier years. I mean look what has happen to the economy, that is the biggest eye opening factor for me right now. I hope to have a nice savings one day, a better job, and some nice investments. With the way things look now it could me big trouble for me and my generation. The one problem I have right now with the economy is all of this money being produced and handed out to everyone. I mean, I would love to help everyone out if I could but lets be realistic here. I like my dollar to be worth something someday, but based on the rate we are printing money it seems like the value of beer and cigarette might be something worth more down the road than the American dollar. Anyways, I had a video sent to me at work today that I found very interesting. The video is about how much money we are printing in this country. So what does that mean? I will turn it over to the video to help clear the smoke on the subject. Oh and by the way I’m not endorsing Glen Beck, I just found the subject interesting.
