I Remember When

Have you ever heard your parents say or someone older make the comment, “I remember when.” Change in some cases (for some of us) is hard to overcome. Especially the older generation who didn’t grow up in a Internet, always on type of generation. Not to long ago my dad made the comment, “I remember when TV was TV.” I can also justify that statement because of all of the reality TV show but its just always funny when someone older makes the comment. As I’m watching the movie “The Goods, Live Hard, Sell Hard” I just couldn’t contain myself because it just brought to mind all of those older folks who just can’t overcome how things have turned out.

I remember being so sick sometimes that whenever I would see a commercial for food, I would just get the sudden urge to vomit. It wasn’t just seeing commercials, even when my mother would cook food (while I was sick) I would just want to throw-up. The opening scene to the latest episode of “The Office” brought back so many memories of when I was sick as a kid. Also it was pretty funny too!

I remember in middle school, the bathroom stalls had no doors. Their was always that one day you had to go number 2 in front of everyone because there were no doors on the stalls. Watching the newest episode of “The Cleveland Show” brought back a lot of memory. Some of us like to go “shy guy” while others could careless (hilarious)!
